It launched from Kennedy Space Center, Florida, on 28 February 1990, and landed on 4 March.

This patch is probably from Cape Kennedy Medals. The outer border is twill rather than fully embrodiered.

This particular version is uncommon because of the mispelled "Thout", which should be Thuot.
