Roberta Bondar - STS-42 - Personal Patch, Reproduction

Roberta Bondar began astronaut training in 1984, and in 1992 was designated Payload Specialist for the first International Microgravity Laboratory Mission (IML-1). Bondar flew on the NASA Space Shuttle Discovery during Mission STS-42, January 22–30, 1992, during which she performed experiments in the Spacelab.
This is a reproduction version. The connections between letters and border is more obvious and the shuttle orbiter has an embroidered outline.

International Microgravity Laboratory (IML-1)

The International Microgravity Laboratory (IML) mission series was planned to be a cooperative project involving
scientists, astronauts and engineers from 13 countries. NASA, the European Space Agency (ESA), and the space
agencies of Canada, France, Germany and Japan agreed to share resources for conducting science experiments in
microgravity and to share the results of those experiments.

IML-1 was flown on STS-42
