Duval High School Roach Motel (STS-95)

The students and staff of DuVal High School, Lanham, MD, culminated a
seven-year effort in partnership with the National Capital Section--American Institute of
Aeronautics and Astronautics on October 28, 1998 with the launch of their experiment,
DuVal's Roach MOTEL, on STS-95. The DuVal Get Away Special Program's main objective
was to provide a wide range of students with the educational experience of designing, building,
and testing a fairly complicated piece of scientific apparatus.
