The primary mission of RADCAL is to provide a dynamic target, with a known truth reference, in a
benign tracking environment for monitoring performance and calibration of ground based C-band radars. RADCAL was
launched from Space Launch Complex 5 (SLC-5) aboard a Scout launch vehicle on 25 June 1993.
